ADVANCED CORE ANALYSIS SERVICES

In the early days most of the core analysis projects were performed at laboratory conditions using simplified fluid systems.  However, several researchers were questioning the representativity of these tests, mostly because they expected wettability to change from the reservoir live fluids at reservoir temperature and pressure, to the laboratory conditions using laboratory oil at atmospheric pressure and room temperature.

Hence, most oil companies then started to request that the laboratory tests where representative wettability is important should be performed at simulated reservoir conditions using crude oil.

Since the company was founded in 2010, RS Systems philosophy has been to focus on complete set-ups and components for laboratory tests under representative conditions.  Further, our philosophy also includes the development of these systems in such a way that in-situ saturation can be done, either by line scans or using flat panels.  All of our systems are module based, and most of these modules can even be used for set-ups using CT scanners.
